Grows without problems outside all year Scottsdale, Arizona. Current specimen over 18+ years old, it has been in 12 inch diameter, 10 1/2 inch high thick clay pot for about 6 years. Blooms every winter. In summer it gets morning sun, then light shade on to full shade in the baking hot afternoons. Does not show stress with day after day temps of 110+. Full sun no limit in winter. Avoid over-potting or too frequent re-potting, well draining soil. Standard water soluble plant fertilizer occasionally in winter.
