This potentially undescribed species is propagated from material originally collected south of Kajiado, Kenya. It appears to be distinguished from other Commiphora in the region by spiny branches and bluish bark revealing by the yellow peeling epidermis. These plants are rooted cuttings in 5-inch pots.
