This species is from southeast Asia, ranging from India to Vietnam. This species has evergreen, large leaves that come out with a yellow-bronze color and prominent veins. Because this large tree occurs in the foothills of the Himalayas, it likely can withstand at least some frost, although we have not tried it outside in Tucson. These plants are seedlings in one-gallon pots.
