These small plants with their bilobate heads are from the greater Richtersveld area of Namaqualand, Northern Cape Province, South Africa. A mat-former, the plants have small gray-green heads that are somewhat spade-shaped with a cleft in the middle top of the leaf. The flowers are orange and large in comparison to the plants. These tiny plants are seedlings in 2-inch pots.
