This pachycaul tree is from Madagascar. This tree was considered to be in the genus Operculicarya but was moved to Commiphora upon close examination of its small flowers. It bears strong resemblance to Operculicarya pachypus with its glossy green leaves and wavy stems. These plants are rooted cuttings in one-gallon pots.
