This small tree, which occurs from Zimbabwe northwards to Kenya, is up to 9-feet tall in habitat. It forms a semi-underground caudex as a young plant and develops a very attractive thickened trunk with golden brown shiny bark in time. These plants are rooted cuttings in one-gallon pots.
