From Australia, silver or feathery cassia is a shrubby species in the pea family with beautiful yellow flowers. It has silver-green pinnate leaves that are typical of much of the Fabacea (pea family). This is a xerophytic shrub that can grow in full sun in Arizona and southern California, and it can take considerable frost. These plants are seedlings in 5-inch pots.
