Commiphora neglecta, so-named because it was recognized late as a separate species, is from a small tree from a broad region of eastern South Africa, Swaziland, and Mozambique. These plants have peeling bark on the trunks and tri-foliate leaves that are smooth and glossy-green with entire margins. The plants have blunt thorns on the stems. These plants are seedlings in 2-gallon pots.
