Look, we don’t care if you call this Wilcoxia, Echinocereus, or Peniocereus, it is an interesting little small-stem cactus arising from a large tuberous root with big pink-magenta flowers. These plants are native to the western Sonoran Desert of Arizonba and Mexico. Vegetatively, the stems are very thin and gray-green, making it a cryptic plant to find in the wild and an interesting plant to have in collections. These plants are seedlings in 2-inch pots.
