One of the classic frankincense trees, Boswellia carteri is from Ethiopia. It is now considered to be synonymous with B. sacra, but we keep it separate because many of our customers request it. In habitat, these trees are tapped for their sap, which is burned in incense burners. The bark has that faint smell of frankincense. These plants are rooted cuttings in 5-inch pots.
