Euphorbia misera is from Baja California and Sonora, Mexico, where it forms a small, gnarly shrub, particularly in coastal settings. A decidedly winter-growing species, E. misera earns its epithet from the sap, which will cause significant misery if rubbed in the eyes. We have rooted cuttings in 4-inch pots.
