Heck, we don’t care if Anderson lumped this into Astrophytum myriostigma, well keep it separate. We still don’t care that the international body doesnt think any of these once-species are significant, because we do. One reason, besides the fact that it is from Coahuila as the name indicates, is that the small spots (trichomes) completely cover the body of the plant. The flowers are typical Astrophytum, yellow with red throats. These plants are seedlings in 4-inch pots.
