This form of Euphorbia tirucalli once was its own species, Euphorbia laro. This spineless Euphorbia forms a large shrub or tree and is used in East Africa as a hedge. Unlike the typical E. tirucalli, this variety has more pronounced linear striations on the stems. The white sap is extremely toxic and easily burns skin. These plants are rooted cuttings in 5-inch pots.
