Widely distributed in the southwestern parts of South Africa, this subshrub has rather coarse somewhat cordate leaves. The leaves are green with a whitish margin that is a little sharp and bears small hairs. The flowers are upright and white with reddish sepals. These plants are seedlings in 3-inch pots.
