From northwestern Namibia, this species is a small spiny tree with a swollen base and a tapering trunk. A classic landscape element in Damaraland and the Kaokoveld, it has leaves that are relatively large and ovate with glands on both faces, and the long tubular flowers are yellow. We offer seedlings in 5-inch pots of this rarely offered species.
