From Socotra, Yemen, Boswellia asplenifolia can be thought of as a higher-elevation form of B. socotrana. In habitat, these trees are tapped for their sap, which was the original frankincense, and the bark has that faint smell of incense. These plants are seedlings in 4-inch pots.
