This black-leaved species, common through the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa into southern Namibia, forms small rosettes. These plants are propagated from material originally collected by the late Scott McDermott. Our plants have the nice nested leaves combined with that chocolate brown color that makes this species so desirable. These plants are rooted offsets in 3-inch pots.
