Our plants are GM 568, from original material collected from Moerasrivier, Western Cape Province of South Africa. This is a chunky, solitary retuse-leaved rosette, beautifully marked with white, pinkish and brown lines and flecks on upper leaves, which are covered with spherical tubercles. One of the best Haworthias, Bayer (1999) probably considers this one to be Haworthia emelyae var. emelyae. We distinguish it to be a separate variety to keep it distinct from H. emelyae var. major. These plants are seedlings in 2-inch pots.
