Delosperma echinatum is a very interesting species because its leaves have rather stiff hairs, leading to its epithet. This species is from the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, and it is a shrub with straggling branches that are easily rooted. This version has yellowish leaves. The flowers are yellow with white filaments bearing the stamens. These plants are rooted cuttings in 5-inch pots.
