This species is from the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, mostly near the towns of Willowmore and Steytlerville. These small mesembs have spathulate leaves that are reddish-grey in color with white warts and a glassy sheen. The aromatic flowers are yellow with thin red stripes. These plants are seedlings in 4-inch pots.
