This black-leaved species, common through the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, forms small rosettes. Our plants are propagated from material originally collected near the Fish River, and these plants have the nice nested leaves combined with that chocolate brown color that makes this species so desirable. These plants are seedlings in 2-inch pots.
