Jatropha dioica is a shrubby species with a range from Texas to southern Mexico. It has wand-like stems bearing 3-5 lobe leaves at the apex and small, yellow-purple flowers. It is hardy in Tucson to perhaps 15F. These plants are rooted cuttings in one-gallon pots.
