Bayer (1999) puts this into synonymy with H. minima, but recently Haworthia experts in South Africa have raised it back to species level. From the Western Cape Province, this form is known as the “lesser pearled aloe,” making it even more misleading but emphasizing the white tubercles on the leaves that superficially resemble those plants in the genus Aloe. These plants are seedlings in 2-inch pots.
