From Mozambique, this geophyte produces a large tuber with a bulbous head. Reputably, the vines appear from subterranean parts of the tuber, meaning that raising the caudex is a little difficult and should be done slowly. The vines produce heart-shaped gray-green and hairy leaves. The flowers are inconspicuous and dioecious. These plants are seedlings in 5-inch pots.
