This cosmopolitan species has a range from Arabia to South Africa and onto some islands in the Indian Ocean. A climber, this species has thin round stems and succulent green leaves that are ovate. These disks are specially cooked leaves that are compressed and dried. In Yemen, these are used in cooking as a digestive aid and curative for stomach ailments. We do not recommend that you eat this product, but while this looks unappetizing, it is an interesting herbal remedy that we obtained in the suq in Taiz, Yemen. We?re offering two disks per bag.
