From southern Namibia ranging into the Northern Cape Province of South Africa, this Avonia is the most desirable species of the genus owing to its caudex and large flowers. The wand-like branches, with their reduced stipules compared to others in the genus, produce large white flowers. These plants are seedlings in 2-inch pots.
