This Breuer species was originally collected as Haworthia magnifica var. aff. atrofusca from a location 6 km northwest of Riversdale (GM 412) in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. These plants have chunky leaves with faint windowing and few markings and an overall dark brown-green color. These plants are seedlings in 4-inch pots.
