From the Western Cape Province of South Africa, this shrub has cylindrical olive-green leaves. Because its tuberous roots can be raised to create a gnarly caudex, this is an excellent candidate for bonsai. The flowers are purple. These plants are rooted cuttings in 5-inch pots.
