This species is from southern Africa, typically from the arid and semiarid areas in the southwestern part. This clone has leaves that are longer than the typical, but they retain the narrow width with a prominent upper channel and characteristic smaller channels all around. The leaves are distichous and with a blue cast. These plants are rooted offsets in one-gallon pots.
