Pterodiscus makatiniensis is a small caudiciform from the Makatini Flats in northeastern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa This species produces a stems from a woody caudex. The leaves are gray-green and not particularly distinctive. The pale-yellow flowers are on the small side. These plants are seedlings in 4-inch pots.
