From the Arabian peninsula and East Africa, this species represents a highly complex and variable group of plants. The stems are relatively small in diameter, dark olive green, and striped with brown. The flowers are complex, as usual, but dominantly white with green and violet highlights. These plants are rooted cuttings in 4-inch pots.
