This is probably an undescribed species from near Dodoma, Tanzania (ES 21547). This species has broad, mostly smooth leaves that occur in sets of 1-2. These leaves are relatively short with patterning, and the plant resembles a S. rugosifolia without the roughness. These plants are rooted offsets in 10-inch pots.
