This winter-growing succulent tree, once classified as Idria columnaris, is one of the iconic species of Baja California. It can tolerate frost and temperatures down to 20 degrees. When given warmth and plenty of root run, these plants form a carrot shaped tree to 50 feet tall. Our plants are seedlings in 4-inch pots.
