This species is native to quartz fields near Pofadder, South Africa. The leaves are a pale yellow-brown and can have significant streaking on the tops. It is relatively easy to grow and tends to form clumps of twin leaves. The flowers are yellow. These plants are seedlings in 2-inch pots.
