This tree Aloe is from the transition area between the Western and Eastern Cape Provinces of South Africa. Where it grows, it dominates slopes, creating a sight to behold for Aloe lovers. The former A. hexapetala, long-since merged with A. speciosa, tends to have more green leaves than the blue-green form typical of A. speciosa. The flowers are greenish-white. These plants are seedlings in two-gallon pots.
