This is an interesting variety of S. suffruticosa from the northwest side of Tsavo National Park, Kenya (Mutomo, Kenya). This relative of the typical Sansevieria suffruticosa varies in its generally smooth leaves, in the banding patterns on the leaves, and the long floral tube. In addition, there is at least the illusion of weak constriction bands on the stems. These plants are rooted offsets in 8-inch pots.
