This species has a wide distribution from China and India through southeastern Asia into Indonesia. It is an epiphytic Hoya with rather plain, light green lanceolate leaves. The inflorescence bears up to 30 small white and fragrant flowers. These plants are rooted offsets in 8-inch pots.
