Aloe ngongensis grows in the Ngong Hills west of Nairobi, Kenya (WY 1057), and its range extends out into the lower elevation Rift Valley. This species forms clumps that range in height from 4 to 6 feet and has a distinctive blue-green rosette. The flowers are orange-red. The species may be frost hardy in Tucson, but we have not tested that yet. Our plants are seedlings in 3-gallon pots.
