We’re now following the new taxonomy of van Jaarsveld published in the journal Aloe. This clone has very beautiful form with white and rounded tubercles on leaves. The original plants (GM 388) are from a locality a few miles west of the Gamtoos River Bridge on N2 and west of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. We’ve been to this locality, and the plants are difficult to see because they are nearly flush with the ground surface. These plants are rooted offsets in one-gallon pots.
