When we first saw this plant, which obviously is one of the Indian succulent Euphorbias and comes from Maharashtra Province, we thought it was related to E. undulatifolia, a fantastic species of dubious natural origin. Singh (1994) describes one variant of E neriifolia with long black spines and longer tubercles, which roughly describes this species. The plants have relatively large leaves (smaller than E. undulatifolia) produced on growing tips. These plants are rooted cuttings in 5-inch pots.
