As the name indicates, these are tiny plants from Namaqualand and the western Karoo in South Africa. A mat-former, the plants have small gray-green heads that are nearly spherical. The flowers are reddish purple and large in comparison to the plants. These tiny plants are seedlings in 2-inch pots.
