This small asclepiad grows among basalt rocks and on other rocky ridges in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya and Tanzania. The fragile stems resemble innumerable Huernia, but the flowers are bell-shaped and dark purple and about an inch across. These plants are rooted cuttings suitable for 2-inch pots.
