This either is an undescribed species that falls in the range between Sansevieria rorrida and S. pinguicula, or we‘re now starting to think this could be the recently described Sansevieria powysii. Collected by Lavranos (Lav 23154) north of Mogadishu, Somalia, these slow-growing plants tend to have a distichous form with stout light-green unspotted leaves. Larger plants seem to want to twist, again suggesting the linkage to S. powysii. We have not seen the flowers. These plants are rooted offsets in one-gallon pots.
