Agave deserti var. deserti (San Matias Pass) 3-inch pots

From western Arizona, southeastern California, and northern Baja California, this Agave suckers proliferously, forming large clumps with small rosettes. These plants are propagated from material originally collected at San Matias Pass in Baja California. It is a blue-green Agave that probably can withstand temperatures lower than 20F, although we have not tested it. We have rooted offsets of this species in 3-inch pots.
