Nananthus vittatus x Aloinopsis spathulata 4-inch pots

This is a hybrid from Steve Hammer and Jim Kampwirth. Nananthus vittatus is relatively widespread in the Northwest and Western Cape Provinces. Aloinopsis spathulata, from the shaly soils near Sutherland in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa, is somewhat of a bridge to the genus Titanopsis. The result is a plant with Nananthus-like gray-green leaves with warts near the tips. The flowers are reddish-purple and contributed by the Aloinopsis. These plants are seedlings in 4-inch pots.
