This species, which some consider to be the western extension of Euphorbia enopla, is from the Western Cape Province of South Africa. Smaller than E. enopla, this species forms a dense shrub with numerous branches. Variety viridis is named for the yellow-green peduncles that appear near the tips of the branches. These plants are rooted cuttings in 4-inch pots.
