From Kenya and Uganda, this short tree, usually tipped over, sparsely offsets. The rosettes bear dark green leaves with yellow-white spots and an overall glossy appearance. The leaf margins bear reddish-brown spines on a brown-white margin. The flowers are a brick red color. These plants are rooted cuttings in one-gallon pots.
