This species, from tropical West Africa, has thick cylindrical pale gray stems, up to 6-feet tall, bearing tuft of recurved spathulate leaves at the tips. This species is similar to E. unispina and E. venenifica. Rare and seldom offered, we have seedlings of this species in 2-inch pots.
