From remote areas in central Madagascar, this species is an intermediate between Aloe bakeri and A. rauhii, but its location rules out a hybrid between these two. The leaves are a bluish-green with white streaking, and the flowers are orange with green floral lips and held on a short inflorescence. These plants are seedlings in 2-inch pots.
