This species is from an isolated area of northeastern Ethiopia. Related to Aloe camperi, it is a short, shrubby Aloe with leaves longer than A. camperi and differences in the inflorescence. The flowers are orange-red in color. These plants are rooted offsets in one-gallon pots.
